First Aid Volunteers Wanted!

Know first aid? Always been meaning to do first aid training? This is for YOU!

We need qualified first aiders at all home games. The basic qualification is a first aid certificate, obtained with the past five years. If you’d like to do a course – or a refresher – the Club can reimburse you for the cost.

Of course, if you’re a doctor, nurse, paramedic or pharmacist, no course is required!

The commitment is generally for a two hour slot, two or three times during the season at home games. It will overlap with your child’s game time, so you get to watch them play.

Juniors Coaching Clinic

Concord GIANTS are offering a coaching clinic, aimed at players aged U9 to U12.

The coaching clinic focuses on positional play, fitness and FUN and is delivered by accredited coaches.

Spaces are limited!

Dates: Wednesday 14th, 21st and 28th Feb.
Times: 5.30-6.30pm
Where: St Lukes Oval, Concord
Cost: $20 per player.

It is also available as a soft-cover book, which is printed to order. Please download the Cannons Yearbook Order Form.

The price covers the cost of printing and postage only. Please note, the price of ordering back issues is higher, as we do not benefit from bulk order discounts for single copies.

Concord GIANTS was delighted to present Diane Tucker with the Darren Mackie Clubperson of the year award for 2017 at our presentation day.

This award means the world to our club and it is the way we say thanks to our most important volunteers – those people who are truly our heart and soul.

As canteen manager Diane has kept all of the kids, parents and visitors to St Luke’s fed and looked after, and turned a tidy profit for us to reinvest in our players next season and our fantastic new St Luke’s home!

So next time you’re at the canteen join with us and say a big thanks to Diane! And remember – one of the best ways to say thanks is to offer to help out on the canteen and BBQ roster!

GWS GIANTS champion defender Nick Haynes will be visiting Concord GIANTS training Wednesday 19 July at St Lukes and will be spending time with all our young players talking to them about our great game and helping out with training and tips!
